The Student Services office is open throughout the day from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.

School Liaison:

Our school liaison supports students and their families by helping address barriers between home and school. This role includes assisting with attendance concerns, conducting home visits, connecting families with community agencies, and supporting the school’s breakfast and lunch programs. The liaison also works to enhance students’ well-being through group activities and other supportive programming.

Other services may include providing transportation to appointments, coordinating team meetings, organizing awareness days, and arranging guest speakers for the school.

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORTS

Counsellors:

Our counsellors provide individual mental health counselling for a variety of personal mental health. Our counsellors are able to assist in making referrals to outside agencies/services and provide reference materials as necessary.

Mental Health Capacity Building Team (MHCB):

MHCB works to build capacity and resilience within the school environment by promoting positive mental health and wellness topics to staff, students, and families, and by connecting community partners to our school communities. MHCB seeks to enhance factors that protect a positive mental health, and minimize factors that increase risk.

The Restorative Action Program (RAP):

RAP facilitators offer a trusted, judgment-free space with a focus on one-on-one relationship building and conflict resolution. Their objective is to empower youth to develop responses to resolve issues related to bullying, mental health and relationships.

RAP supports youth to:

  • navigate conflict
  • build relationships
  • reconnect with community
