Conexus Community Youth Leadership Award NOT AVAILABLE
Deadline: February 1, 2020
30 x $500 awards recognizing students who demonstrate co-operative spirit, community involvement and leadership. Must include a letter of support from a school faculty member and a local community leader. Parent/guardian or applicant must be a member of the Conexus Credit Union.
RBC Students Leading Change Scholarship AVAILABLE
Deadline: Dates vary but start in February
312 scholarships available with amounts ranging from $500 - $10,000. Some are reserved exclusively for RBC Royal Bank student clients....others are open to everyone. Criteria varies, but students who show a passion to lead and inspire positive change in their community are encouraged to apply.
RBC Aboriginal Student Awards Program AVAILABLE
Deadline: February 2021
10 awards of up to $4,000 and living expenses to support Aboriginal students on the basis of personal and academic achievements as well as financial need.
Hal Rogers Endowment Fund AVAILABLE
Deadline: February 1, 2021
Recipient must enroll in a post-secondary institution and demonstrate high ideals and qualities of citizenship. He/She will be evaluated on his/her community and school involvement, knowledge of Kin Canada and financial need. This award is sponsored by the Kinsmen/Kinettes in the amount of $1000. The number of scholarships available varies from year to year, with 32 available last year. Visit the website for more information.
Terry Fox Humanitarian Award AVAILABLE
Recipients must be entering a post-secondary institution, be involved in community service and voluntary humanitarian work. The amount is $28,000 dispersed over 4 years.
University of Saskatchewan – Competitive Entrance Awards AVAILABLE
Deadline: February 15, 2021
Competitive Entrance Awards include numerous scholarships and bursaries can be accessed by many students with diverse experiences.
You can be considered based on academic achievement, financial need and/or contributions to school and community life. Some awards recognize particular backgrounds, acknowledge contributions to certain clubs or reward achievement in music and athletics.
All entering students are encouraged to apply. To be considered, complete your application for admission by February 15, and fill out and submit the online application for Competitive Entrance Awards in PAWS by March 1.
SK Polytechnic Scholarships AVAILABLE
Awards are commonly selected on the basis of financial need, academic achievement or very often, a combination of the two. The selection basis for awards can also include volunteer or leadership involvement in your communities and schools. Amounts vary.
