Above and Beyond Award (SRC) – AVAILABLE

A $250 award for a SRC member. Nominees are chosen by SRC Advisors. The recipient will be a student who has demonstrated extra commitment to SRC sponsored activities. Alicia Hanwell Memorial Scholarship – AVAILABLE

A $1,000 scholarship for a FEMALE pursuing a career in STEM. This scholarship is in memory of Alicia, who was very involved in the school and the community. Her passion was computer science, and the family wishes to support someone who shares this love of the sciences. Applications are available at the SSO.

Battleford Furniture Entrepreneurship Award – AVAILABLE

$350 award for the top Entrepreneurship graduate.
Battlefords Community Players Award – AVAILABLE

A $100 award for a graduate who has volunteered with BCP. If not applicable, the award goes to a graduate who plans to attend post-secondary and excels in extracurricular drama.
Battleford's Local #544 Retail, Wholesale & Department Store Union Award – AVAILABLE

Battleford River Treaty 6 Health Centre Inc. Award – AVAILABLE

You must be from a BRT6HC community and be entering a post-secondary institute in a health-related field. Good attendance and academic standing (70%) will be considered. The award is for $300. Applications forms are available at the SSO.
Better Together Bursary – AVAILABLE

$300 bursary to a Grade 12 students that is actively building connection between elderly and youth in the community in which they live, learn and serve. This student is continuously growing in their understanding of community, is willing to share lessons from their life experiences, is willing to invite input and advice, and inspires collective community change. This student acts with integrity, is creating a culture of openness, and is practically investing in intergenerational friendships built on respect, reciprocity and relationship. The student who received this bursary does not need to be pursuing secondary education. Pick up an application form at the SSO.

Charabin Seed Farm Grain Venture Scholarship - AVAILABLE

This scholarship is for a Grade 12 graduate who plans to pursue a career in the agriculture industry. To be eligible for this scholarship, the applicant must be planning to take agriculture-related post-secondary education, either at the University or College level, beginning in the fall of 2026. Applicant must also be connected to the school through school sports. Verification of enrollment needs to be received before scholarship is given.
Craig Anderson Impact Scholarship – AVAILABLE

The North Battleford SaskTel Pioneers Volunteer Club is proud to offer this $500 scholarship to a student who has a positive impact on the people around them. The recipient will be selected based on impact and character, and how they make other people's lives better. Academics are NOT a factor in determining the winner. For the Love of Farming - Allan Ray Scholarship – AVAILABLE

$500 presented to a student who exhibits a love of farming and is entering an agricultural program in the fall. You must provide a 1-page write-up on your love of farming and what you plan to do with your agricultural degree. More information and application is available at the SSO.

Gordon Tucker Memorial Scholarship – AVAILABLE
Due Date: May 9, 2025
One award of $2500 will be granted to a Status First Nations or Metis student of North Battleford Comprehensive High School that will be attending college or university in 2025.
Any Status First Nations or Metis student enrolled, either full-time or part-time, at an accredited Canadian college or university leading to a certificate, diploma or degree. The student does not have to be of a certain age for eligibility to this Scholarship. Pick up application in the SSO.
Humenny Construction Award – AVAILABLE

This $5000 bursary will go towards schooling fee through MTS for one student looking to gain access to training for their commercial driving license.
Students will need to:
- Write a short essay explaining their needs and wants within the commercial driving industry.
- A drivers abstract will need to be provided
- A clean graduated license

Are you a student who strives to be the best you can be? If so, then this award is meant for you! A $1,750.00 scholarship is available to a well-rounded student who excels in academics and is active in the school. Applications are available at the SSO.
NBCHS Parents Association of Special Events Awards – AVAILABLE

Four $500 awards are available for students entering a post-secondary school who show good citizenship by helping others, has good character, is an all around good person and tries hard in life. This scholarship is ONLY for a students who are NOT receiving any other scholarships.
A $500 to $1,500 in previous years (AMOUNT NOT SPECIFIED FOR 2021) scholarship based on responses to questions regarding injury prevention initiatives/activities, financial need, extra-curricular activities and academic average. SK Association of Student Council Advisors (SASCA) – AVAILABLE

There are 12 - $500 awards available. These awards are available to all SK students who are now in their final year of high school in a SASCA member school (NBCHS included). Stoik Family Memorial Scholarship – AVAILABLE

Two scholarships of $1,000 are available. The recipient must display high integrity and citizenship, have good grades, contribute to the well-being of the school and/or community and be in need of financial support. Students of aboriginal ancestry are encouraged to apply, as one scholarship is set aside specifically for those of indigenous ancestry. Wanda Cox Memorial Scholarship sponsored by Discovery Co-operative Ltd. – AVAILABLE

$500 to a student who is enrolled in a post-secondary program for a business certificate or degree in business administration, commerce, trades or agriculture. The successful recipient must have also maintained an 80% average and completed a minimum of 20 hours of community volunteer service. A $500 award for a graduate displaying outstanding attendance and academic excellence who is pursuing post-secondary studies and who is a registered member of a BATC First Nation. If no applicants are from BATC, then the award may be awarded to a registered member of any First Nation. Visit the SSO for an application.

Battlefords Dance Festival Scholarship – NOT AVAILABLE

For a grade 12 student who is registered for a minimum of 3 hours per week in any ballet, tap, and jazz school in the Battlefords. He/She must be pursuing post-secondary education in a program of eight months or longer. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE A DANCE PROGRAM, as long as they are attending a post-secondary institute. Battlefords Indian Metis Friendship Centre Award - NOT AVAILABLE

A $250 award for an indigenous student excelling in Native Studies is available.
Battlefords Minor Hockey Association Scholarship – NOT AVAILABLE
A $500 scholarships is available to an applicant in good standing with the Saskatchewan Hockey Association and Battlefords Minor Hockey Association who is graduating and planning on attending a post-secondary institute in the fall. You must write an essay outlining your hockey experience, contributions to hockey and contributions to the community. A transcript must also be attached, which you can get at the SSO. Battlefords Union Hospital Healthcare Foundation – NOT AVAILABLE

2 - $500 for a student entering the healthcare field. He/She should also intend to be employed at BUH for at least one year of full-time work following the completion of their courses. Letters, references and transcripts must be included in the application. For application come to the SSO.
Battlefords Wildlife Federation Scholarship – NOT AVAILABLE

If you are attending a program in natural resources and/or the environment, then this $1,000 may be for you! It is a $500 first year and $500 second year scholarship. $500 to a student who is a major contributor to the school and community. Recipient does not need to be continuing their education, nor is this award based on academic success.
K5 Insurance Loss Prevention and Loss Reduction Scholarship – NOT AVAILABLE

A $100 scholarship is available to a student who completes the application and submits a 300-400 word paper that addresses one of the following loss prevention and reduction topics: Decreasing distracted driving OR Decreasing losses due to vandalism. To qualify, you must have participated in at least one debate hosted through the Saskatchewan Elocution and Debate Association, the Battleford Kiwanis Music Festival in any capacity or participated in the Regional Drama Festival in any capacity in 2023/2024 academic year. SPG has 5 scholarships for undergraduate students enrolled in the fall in a Saskatchewan-based post-secondary agriculture program. To be eligible for one of these scholarships, the student or the student's parent(s) must be an active pulse producer in Saskatchewan (i.e. he/she has sold a Saskatchewan-grown pulse crop in the last two crop years). Students must have a 70% minimum, be accepted in a full time Saskatchewan post-secondary program associated with the pulse industry, submit a transcript and write a 500-word essay.
